In 2015, Paul and Margaret were lucky enough to be invited to visit the Ilve factory in Campodarsego, Italy. After spending a few nights in beautiful Venice, it was a short drive to visit the iconic factory that first opened in 1952. The tour started with the showroom then a sneak peak at the research and development unit. Next was seeing firsthand the hardworking team that hand assembles the Ilve stoves before being shipped to Australia and the rest of the world. Last but not least, Paul and Margaret experienced the famous Italian hospitality where they were treated to lunch with Ilve’s Export Manager Antonio at the amazing Al Tezzon Hotel. Margaret claims they have the best tiramisu she’s ever tasted there!
